IF barrack obama was elected president,
THEN reverend wright must be wrong in his twenty plus years of ranting that white America is racist and blacks have been taken advantage of and left with no chance to succeed.
Perhaps now reverend jeremiah wright, jessee jackson, louis farrakhan, al sharpton, and all of the other race baiters will dedicate their message to telling blacks how it is that obama, a kid from the streets of Chicago, managed to rise to the most powerful position in the free world.
These self appointed leaders of black America could explain that this obama kid got an education. He then used that education to get a job. He then parlayed one job into the next better job. He met influential people, got involved in the community, stayed out of trouble, got married, had a family, and kept working and let ambition propel him to new levels.
Yes, that is the message that these men should be spreading to their followers. A message of hope not despair and anger. A message of personal success not failure!
But, in doing so they would be admitting they had been wrong for a very long time and had given their followers some real bad advice that may well have been the reason these folks have not enjoyed the American dream.
And then there’s the other problem in Reverend Jeremiah Wright and the other so called, self appointed black leaders telling the story of barack obama’s accomplishments. By their own standard of measure in the way they have treated successful blacks like Clarence Thomas and Condoleezza Rice, they would have to call obama an Uncle Tom.
