If you are voting obama because he is a member of the Democrat party and you think doing so is in some way carrying on some sort of tradition of voting democrat, think again.
While his party affiliation may be with the democrat party, he is not the democrat of your father and grandfather
Obama is not a democrat. He is not even a liberal! His philosophies, both social and political, come down on the side of socialism and Marxism.
The words he speaks while on the campaign trail have been betrayed by his actual beliefs that are slowly starting to surface.
His plan for America is to ‘fix’ our Constitution which he says is fundamentally flawed as it does not specifically address issues or race, specifically blacks. His idea of fixing the flaw is to amass coalitions of like minded people in the political and judicial areas. This basically means he wants to stack the Supreme Court with judges who will legislate from the bench and politicians who will create law to this end.
Obama also favors redistribution of wealth. In his 2001 comments on NPR he stated that the Supreme Court had failed to address redistribution of wealth as it applied to blacks. He claimed that while they had been granted the same rights of access, the subject of economic fairness was not addressed. He addressed this redistribution of wealth again this month when he told Joe the plumber that he wanted to ‘spread the wealth around’.
There are many troubling discrepancies in who obama says he is and who he actually is. In his second book he states that, should the political winds shift he will always come down on the side of the Muslim. Unfortunately, the press has not seen fit to
ask him exactly what this means. That's a strange thing to say, considering he continues to deny he is a Muslim!
The press refuses to hold him accountable for anything he says in error, his past associations, unpopular positions or votes, lack of actual executive experience, and have engaged in intentionally not investigating his background or reporting on anything that would show him in a negative light. This same treatment has not been applied to covering McCain.
In terms of press coverage, obama is the least investigated candidate in modern history.
WHAT ARE THEY TRYING TO HIDE, or should I say, HELP HIM HIDE??
Finally, there is his voting record of opposing protection for late term abortion in favor of infanticide. He did this on four different occasions.
Just so we are clear, infanticide is when a baby survives the abortion and is then denied medical assistance and left to die. Obama's position is that the intent of the procedure must be respected even if the baby survives the initial abortion attempt.
So, I wonder, does this sound like the platform, principles, and values of the Democrat party you remember and think you are still voting for?
