Okay, you want to investigate Palin using her power to get a trooper fired, no problem.
To do this we first must know her reason for, allegedly, wanting the trooper fired.
How about the trooper himself admitting he tasered his ten year old stepson? Whoah, stop the press and take a breath! Did I just say he tasered a ten year old child?
To me, nothing else about this case matters. Not the divorce her sister was going through with the trooper, not the safety commisioner be fired, nothing!
Once we know that this trooper was unstable enough to taser a child, the rest of the discussion is a mute point. What kind of person does that! And more importantly, do we want that type of person being a law enforecment officer?
Nowhere in any emails, documents, or discussions did Sarah Palin say the trooper was to be fired. But if she would have, I'd say she was doing her job to protect the citizens of Alaska. That one of then happens to be her sister is of no concern to me. Her family deserves the same protection everyone else demands. Being a family member of a politician does not disqualify you from being safe.
The people speaking out are those who admit to being political foes of Sarah Palin. So much for intregity.
When you have a group that calls themselves "Alaska Mythbusters" that is made up mostly of elected officials from Alaska who have opposed or criticized Palin, you have to question their true intentions.
The one Alskan not speaking against the Palins is the trooper! In spite of his horrible actions, he appears to have more character than the press and Palin's political enemies.
