Barack Obama was clear and to the point when he said family, especially the kids, were off limits during the campaign. he seemed angry that suggestions had been made that some of his staff may have been involved in any such activity and said point blank he would fire anyone he found to be taking part in attacks on Palin's children.
Those are wondefrully spoken great words, but as we all know, ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS.
It is time for Mr. Obama to summon the media to a press conference and tell them to stop going after the dirt on his opponents. it's fine for him to say 'his 'staff' is not involved, but only a complete idiot would deny that the press is doing his dirty work.
His staff doesn't need to attack Sara Palin's kids or husband when the media is doing it for them.
Since the press doesn't even try to hide it's support of the democrat candidate, by default Obama is the benefactor of their dirty work.
We know it and so does Senator Obama.
He needs to back up his tough words with some tough action and reign the press in.
While the media is under no obligation to do anything he says, by doing this Obama would score big points for at least showing his intentions aren't just more of his empty words.
